November 9 is an important date for Lyric Marid. This year, along with celebrating his birthday, he will be releasing his latest project SexyFat to the public. This party is stacked with some of the most talented emcees in the state. Sticking with the SexyFat theme, Lyric is bringing out the big boys for this one, including Tek, Baby Shel, Radio Ah'lee, Mic QA, and Rich Garvey. Rounding out the lineup will be Victor, Tae Supreme, and Mill City Collective's own Kashy. DJ Low will be covering the wheels all night as well.

You may have previously heard of 'The Network' in the Twin Cities area. The Network is a collections of performers, vendors, and artists minds that have come together to support each other in order to benefit the music and arts scene in the TC as a whole. With the help of Nate Ejuwa (Starin' at the City) and AK Collective, 'Hoodie Season' is sure to be a networking event that you'll want to be a part of. With a long list of vendors, artists, and musical performances, this will surely be one event to meet new creative minds and work toward a common goal - to connect and collaborate.
Hoodie Season takes place at honey in Minneapolis. This is a FREE event. 21+
On Sunday September 10, Minnesota artist J Flight, along with his company Intelligent Media, are presenting the Plugged In showcase at First Avenue's 7th St Entry. The show includes some of the hottest artists in Minnesota including Destiny Roberts, The Rift (of FREEWIFI), up-and-comer Student-1, our guy Lyric Marid, and J Flight himself. DJ Low and DJ Dmil will also be spinning tracks all night.
Doors open at 7:00 pm, with the show scheduled to start at 8:00. Entry is only $10. This is a 18+ event.
On Saturday September 2, Lyric Marid will continue his streak of performing on nearly EVERY national touring artist's bill while they stop in Minneapolis. This time it's Think It’s A Game recording artist YFN Lucci.
